Here is a brief description of the manufacture specs:
- Max weight at 60# or 27kg
- Recommended age of operation comes in at 2 to 6
Our Specs are as follows:
- 28lbs 9.6ozs delivered to our door with an unmarked box.
- 41" inches in Length (End to End)
- 21" inches in width (End to End)
- 21-3/4" inches from floor to the top of the saddle
- 12-3/4" inches from floor to the belly of the horse
- 2-3/4" inches from floor to the steel cross frame
- 37" in Total Height.
Here is what have observed in regards to this product.
- After reviewing & testing the previous model & design, we were skeptical about the cross frame
- As the spring coils and uncoils during usage, it can really create a pinch~ing hazard and it is nice to see the manufacturer include cushion sleeves.
- This product will fit into a Toyota RAV4 SUV...with a backseat down and with the horse head removed. Transport is doable because of the relative small size.
Installation was easy and tricky....
Please note the following:
- You will need a Philips Screw drive or an Electrical drive. We recommend the Electrical drive because it simplifies things a lot.
- Next you will need an Adjustable wrench... That is it and nothing more...
- All the Horses legs comes with numbers eched into it...Therefore it's easy to locate where it belongs...
- Inserting the plastic anchor into the strap was a bit tricky and requires patience.
- Trying to insert and penetrate the long bolt through the plastic anchor, steel pole, and strap required extreme and delicate positioning.
- The Cross frame is labeled appropriately with "A"s and "B"s....as to avoid confusion.
- Finally....instruction manual was pretty comprehensive and easy to read...make sure to read it thoroughly
